Nokia and Microsoft are apparently in talks over the possibility of a Windows Phone 7 Nokia device for release in 2011

If Eldar Murtazin of Mobile Reviews and his reliable inside sources are to be believed, Nokia and Microsoft are currently in talks over a Windows Phone 7 Nokia device for 2011.
Allegedly, Nokia's new management recently initiated the talks with the computer giant, and it isn't just a case of the two companies exchanging technologies.
Sounds bizarre? We think so, considering Meego and the new version of Symbian is hailed by many as something of a saving grace for the company. By releasing aWindows Phone 7 device, it may look like Nokia is giving up with its own offerings, at least for the time being.
Why should we believe the rumour? Well, Eldar Murtazin has been right on the button before, much to Nokia's annoyance. In addition, Nokia is now being run by former Microsoft man Stephen Elop, which may have helped the proceedings. Of course, it may have not - we aren't sure.
We don't think the whole idea is unreasonable, even though Nokia has always been keen to dismiss rumours of a potential tie with Google or Microsoft.
Expect Nokia to flat-out deny the rumour, or for news of the Windows Phone 7 device to start trickling out early next year. We'll keep you posted.
